Welcome to my artistic journey! It all began in my childhood, inspired by "The Secret City" on PBS, where Commander Mark taught children the magic of drawing using various drawing exercises and examples using perspective and imaginative elements. Those lessons ignited my passion and helped me cultivate my unique style, which centers around abstract designs featuring striking contrasts and depth in black and white. 

My mother has always been my greatest inspiration. From an early age, she immersed me in the joys of cooking, baking, sewing, embroidery and crafting, nurturing my creativity every step of the way. Her passion for poetry and the arts instilled in me a love for reading and writing, motivating me to pursue my dreams while looking at the world with an artistic flare. Today, I channel her teachings into intricate embroidery pieces, blending unique techniques with painted canvas to bring my artistic vision to life.

Life took me on an unexpected journey, steering me away from my dreams of attending art school in NYC. At 18, I moved out on my own and embraced the responsibilities of adulthood, which led me to the world of fine dining and baking. Under the guidance of a talented pastry chef, my passion for creating exquisite breads and pastries was born and it has flourished over the past 23 years. Yet, my love for the arts never faded; it only grew stronger, my techniques have only evolved through the years fueling my desire to become a full-time artist.

 A couple years ago I got the opportunity to step back and bake part time and focus on my art as my business. Finally living my dream, I'm excited to share my imaginative creations with the world and inspire everyone to color outside the box. Remember, you don't need formal training in the arts to pursue your dreams. I hope my pieces bring you smiles and a sense of wonder, reflecting the passion and detail I invest in every stroke and stitch.
